First Snowday

It snowed outside a couple days ago, there's always something about the first snow fall when you get to snuggle up with a hot cocoa and just watch the snow flakes drift. =3

Rarity decided to take the day off to just watch the snow flakes fall on the new bed of white laid that morning, it was the kind of day that demanded a pony to just relax, no buzz of ponies demanding this dress and that hat or this sweater..  The sunset outside the window framed her figure with a soft dying light, her usually carefully primed and brushed mane now rested in a wave of messy purple curls and her pearly pelt frilled from the towel drying from earlier. Her winter coat was really coming in heavy this year.

She sighed peacefully to herself as her hoofs hummed with warmth by the mug of freshly made hot cocoa nestled inbetween them, waiting patiently for it to cool to just the right temperature for sipping.  All the while outside ponies hastened themselves to beat the setting sun, Celestia obviously wasn't aware of how important the first snowpony of winter was. 

"I'll have to take a walk later.."  She paused as she took the first sip of sweet chocolate and gooey marshmellow, and her tummy just melted with joy inside her and she sighed deeply and slumped further down against the window. "Yes.. much later.."
